"I cannot say enough nice things about Gone 2 The Dogs and Lynda Preston. Two years ago, I started looking for a shih tzu to add to my family, and I came across Gone 2 the Dogs. I could tell immediately that Lynda was not just a dog breeder. She truly cares about her dogs and cares about what kind of a home they are going into. Her dogs are her family before they ever become a part of someone else's family. A few days later, I brought home my little black bundle of cuteness. Lynda was there for me after I took him home to help me with the many questions I had! She continuously followed up with me to make sure me and my puppy were both adjusting well. She continues to be the one I use for boarding and grooming of my pup and is honestly a trusted advisor when it comes to any and all things dog related. When my friends and family are asking about a dog, a dog groomer or a dog boarder, I ALWAYS recommend Lynda and Gone 2 the Dogs. She is the best! You can trust that you will get a good quality dog from her, and you can trust your dog will be on wonderful care with her if being boarded or groomed."

After searching for a puppy for some time and becoming very frustrated with breeding scams, I decided to widen my search while traveling to VA last spring break. I'm so glad I did! Lynda understood and seemed to share my excitement and made my questions and correspondence with her a top priority. In the midst of my "Puppy Fever" she even sent me a short video of the pups playing.
When visiting her quaint country home and business, it was obvious from the start that Lynda cares very much for all her dogs and puppies and while grooming and breeding dogs is her business, there is no doubt it is also her passion. She knew her puppies well and helped us to decide between two very handsome boys by giving us all the information about their personalities. Lynda sent us back home to Michigan with a toy, food for the trip, thorough medical papers of shots to deliver to our vet, as well as many toy ideas and where to get great dog supplies fast and at a reasonable price! She stayed in contact with us throughout our first couple of weeks to make sure our little guy was adjusting well and was in good health. Potty training was much simpler than I thought it would be because Lynda trains the puppies on pee pads from the start. That has not been the case with some of my other friends that have recently bought puppies from other breeders. Lynda requests you become friends with her on Facebook so she can get updates on her former babies. We continue to check in with her periodically with pictures and quick clips on how our little guy is growing. So fun! Most notable is the very reasonable price she asks for her puppies. She is all about making sure everyone is happy especially the puppy! This Michigan teacher gives Lynda and her business an A+!
Here is a picture of our sweet baby shih-poo "Brad". He has brought so much excitement to our home!

I can not say enough good things about gone2thedogs and Lynda. I had been searching for a dog for about a year but everyone seemed to want too much money or they were just breeding them. Finally I found gone2thedogs!! One thing you will find here is that these puppies are very loved and taken care of. The price for these pups are very reasonable and and well worth it! Lynda truly loves them like her babies, even after we got home she would message me to check on Hattie to see how she was doing, make sure she was eating enough and just to share some helpful tips with me. Hattie has been the best dog EVER! She has the best personality, loves to snuggle but is ready to play when you are. If we ever decide to get another dog we will definitely be coming back to gone2thedogs. Thank you so much for everything!!

I had been looking for the perfect pup for almost 2 years before I found Lynda. When I first saw the puppies online I was so excited but tentatively hopeful. I had been interacting with other so called "breeders" online who were either just trying to scam me, or didn't take very good care of the dogs. Lynda was the complete opposite. She interviewed me virtually and inspected my Facebook page thoroughly to see if I would be a good match for her pups. She was very concerned about making sure they would be sent to good homes. It was obvious she cared for them greatly. She sent numerous recommendations about items to purchase, food to buy, toys they like, etc. And she was more than willing to answer all of the questions we had. Our litter was very small, and she made sure to wait until they were big enough to go home, even though it was a little after 8 weeks. When we met her to pick up our baby Stella, we saw that all of her pets were well cared for and loved. We were thrilled with our experience, and most of all, we adore our new baby. She has a very sweet temperament and was already crate trained when we brought her home. Lynda stayed in touch with us to make sure we followed up on our vet appointments, and that Stella received her initial puppy visits and completed her vaccinations. I feel lucky to have found her!

I am the recipient of a wonderful dog from Lynda at Gone to the Dogs. She is now Roxie, a four month old Shih-poo who loves everybody and everything. She is a welcome addition to our household. She is fun, energetic, and as cute as can be. Our vet, upon her first visit for shots, etc, said "she belongs on a TV show." Lynda is a thoughtful and caring breeder. If you are looking for a new pet, this is a place where you can be confident that it will have had a proper start in life!
